The laboratory has a triple role :

1) conception, innovation and improvement

2) continuous monitoring of the different stages of transformation, whether it be artisanal or industrial dyeing

3) control of the finished product for colour conformity and technical specifications.

Each fabric we receive is analysed spectrophotocolometrically to determine the best colouring solution, taking into account both the metametry of the yarn and the required technical specifications.

The result of each analysis is an individual formula, based not only on the type of colouring agents

• acid, metalliferic or reactive for silk
• direct or reactive for cellulosic fibres
• dispersed for acetate fibres
• acid and/or metalliferic for polyamides

but also the temperature curve of the dyeing cycle, which is why in addition to the classical test tube turner, the laboratory is also equipped with a computer assisted infra-red test tube turner which enables the control of the whole production cycle.

Concerning the finished product, our apparatus can measure :

• resistance to friction, in both wet and dry conditions
• resistance to light, perspiration and washing
• dimensional stability
