When Abel Hugo founded the company in 1818, it was specialized in the dyeing and embellishment of silk yarns, both treated and untreated.

Since then, it has evolved towards the treatment and ennoblement of silk based knitted and woven fabrics and no longer deals with just yarns.

Thanks to our specialized machinery and personnel, we can satisfy most demands concerning pure silk fabrics and those made from a combination of silk and natural, artificial and synthetic yarns, (with the exception of polyester and acrylic).
